Acceptable Use Policy

Applies to all users

It applies alongside the Terms of Service for patients and the Professional Terms for dentists and clinics.

1. General principle

The Perioskoup Services must be used responsibly, lawfully and in accordance with their intended purpose as a tool for communication, organisation, documentation and education in the field of dentistry.

2. Prohibited conduct

Users are prohibited from:

  • using the Services for unlawful or fraudulent activities, or for transmitting content that is unlawful, defamatory or that infringes the rights of third parties;
  • uploading personal data, including health data, without holding the necessary legal basis, consents and authorisations;
  • attempting to compromise the security or integrity of the Services, introducing malware, carrying out security scans or tests without our written consent, or accessing accounts or data that do not belong to them;
  • using automated means to extract data from the Services, decompiling or reverse-engineering the software components, or circumventing technical protection measures;
  • sharing authentication credentials, allowing the account to be used by unauthorised persons, or creating accounts with false information, including as to professional status;
  • removing, concealing or altering the markings and labels applied to content generated by artificial intelligence;
  • using outputs generated by artificial intelligence as a medical diagnosis or medical decision without validation by a dentist, or presenting such outputs to patients as being medically approved in the absence of such validation;
  • using the Services for the management of medical emergencies;
  • using the Services to transmit unsolicited commercial communications;
  • deliberately overloading the infrastructure of the Services or disrupting their use by other users.

3. Enforcement

A breach of this policy constitutes a breach of the Agreement and may result, depending on its gravity, in a warning to the user, restriction or suspension of access, removal of content, termination of the Agreement in accordance with section 12 of the B2B Terms, as well as in notification of the competent authorities. In serious cases, measures may be taken without prior notice. We will cooperate with the competent authorities in investigating unlawful uses of the Services.

4. Reporting

Breaches of this policy and security vulnerabilities may be reported to contact@perioskoup.com. Good-faith reports of vulnerabilities will not be treated as breaches of the Agreement.
